Dear PMAPer,
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has issued Labor Advisory No. 17, Series of 2026, prescribing the rules on the payment of wages for regular holidays, special non-working days, and the special working day in 2027, pursuant to Proclamation No. 1427, Series of 2026.
Under the advisory, employees who work on regular holidays will receive 200% of their daily wage for the first eight hours, with additional premiums for rest day and overtime work.

Meanwhile, February 25, 2027, is declared a special working day and will be treated as an ordinary working day. Employees who work will receive 100% of their basic wage, plus an additional 25% for overtime.
