| SUBJECT : | SSS Circular No. 2026-002: SSS Pension Reform Program |
Dear PMAPer,
The Social Security System (SSS) has issued Circular No. 2026-002 implementing the SSS Pension Reform Program, which provides a scheduled increase in monthly pensions from 2025 to 2027. Retirement and disability pensions will increase by 10% annually, while survivorship pensions will increase by 5% annually to help pensioners cope with rising living costs.
The increase applies to the total monthly pension, including the ₱1,000 allowance, and will also cover dependents’ pensions, with provisions for retroactive adjustments where applicable. This circular takes effect immediately and repeals Circular No. 2025-005.
