SUBJECT   :DOLE: Indicative wage review cycle starts in May 2026

Dear PMAPer,

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), together with the National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC), will commence the next minimum wage review cycle in May 2026 in the National Capital Region, following the completion of the 2025–2026 cycle. The review will take into account global developments, including the situation in the Middle East and its potential impact on commodity prices and wages, while regional wage boards continue to closely monitor socioeconomic conditions.

This initiative aligns with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive ensures timely wage reviews that promote a balanced approach to fair compensation, productivity, and business sustainability.
