The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has issued Labor Advisory No. 18, Series of 2026, on wage payment for the special non-working days on November 1 and 2, and the regular holiday on November 30, 2026.
Under the advisory signed by Secretary Francis N. Tolentino on October 12, the “no work, no pay” rule applies on November 1 and 2, unless company policy, practice, or a CBA provides otherwise.

For guidance on wage computation, please refer to DOLE Labor Advisory No. 18, Series of 2026.
