The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) issued Labor Advisory No. 10, Series of 2026, recognizing the PhilHealth Yaman ng Kalusugan Program (YAKAP) as a primary care benefit package that provides comprehensive outpatient services and chronic disease management for PhilHealth members and their qualified dependents.
Labor Secretary Francis N. Tolentino encouraged all private sector employers, including those operating within the informal economy, to support and facilitate the registration of workers and their dependents under the program.
