| SUBJECT : | DOLE New wage orders for minimum wage earners in the CALABARZON and Central Visayas issued |
Dear PMAPer,
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has issued new wage orders for minimum wage earners in CALABARZON (Region IV-A) and Central Visayas (Region VII). Workers in private establishments will see daily wage increases ranging from ₱21 to ₱75 in CALABARZON and ₱33 to ₱43 in Central Visayas. These adjustments will take effect on September 30, 2024, in Region IV-A, and October 2, 2024, in Region VII.
The increases affect over 1.2 million workers and will also impact benefits like 13th-month pay, social security, and other wage-related perks.
