PMAP 62nd Annual Conference Bulletin No. 1
The People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) expresses its continued concern for the people of Cebu following the recent earthquakes that struck Bogo City and nearby areas. We stand in solidarity with the affected communities and extend our thoughts and prayers to those impacted by these events.
We reassure our conference delegates, members, exhibitors and partners that our official venue,
NUSTAR Resort & Casino, located in Kawit Island, South Road Properties, Cebu City, remains structurally sound and fully operational. Following the recent tremors, NUSTAR management conducted another round of comprehensive safety inspections and reaffirmed that all facilities, including hotel, casino, mall and event spaces are safe for occupancy.
PMAP places the highest priority on the safety and well-being of all conference delegates and everyone. We have a contingency plan in place to guide our actions should any emergency arise, and we have been coordinating closely with the Cebu City Local Government Unit (LGU) and NUSTAR management to ensure that all safety protocols are observed and precautionary measures are being done.
To further strengthen our preparedness, PMAP released NUSTAR’s Safety and Emergency Plan together with this statement. The plan provides essential information such as emergency hotline numbers, fire exits, evacuation routes, designated evacuation areas, emergency response flowchart and important safety reminders to guide everyone in the event of an emergency.
The safety, comfort, and well-being of our participants remain PMAP’s highest priority. We continue to coordinate closely with our venue and accommodation partners to ensure that all safety measures are firmly in place.
The 62nd PMAP Annual Conference will proceed as scheduled on October 22-24, 2025 at NUSTAR Resort & Casino, Cebu City. We remain fully committed to ensuring a safe, smooth and meaningful event for all delegates as we come together to UNLEASH ideas, possibilities and innovations that will shape the future of people management and nation-building.
