Job Description
This position is responsible for the timely and accurate completion of various in-scope transactions given clearly defined procedures and with close supervision. This may include one or any combination of the following: performs fixed asset accounting, tax related activities, financial statements reporting, bank reconciliation, intercompany reconciliation and other general ledger related activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profitand-loss statements, and capital expenditure schedules.
- Prepares, records, analyzes, and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.
- Provides financial support, including forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing variations from budget.
- Analyzes and prepares statutory accounts, financial statements, and reports | Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projects.
Qualifications
- Graduates of Accountancy, Financial Management, Business Administration, or any related field (CPA licensure is a plus)
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- For tenured, at least 3 – 5 years’ experience in General Accounting is required.
- Preferably with background in Bank Reconciliation, Statutory/Tax Reporting, Asset Accounting, Inter-company Reconciliation or Financial Statements Reporting
- Knowledge in SAP is an advantage
- Shared Services/ BPO experience is a plus.
