Job Description
- Install, configure, maintain applications, ensuring seamless integration with the organization’s infrastructure
- Manage and optimize server/desktop, web servers hosting applications and administer associated database for optimal performance.
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing issues related to all organization’s applications, and offering guidance for optimal use.
- Manage and secure digital entities, ensuring that individuals have the right level of access to systems, applications and data based on their roles and responsibilities. This also includes User Provisioning and De-provisioning
- Collaborate with developers, IT teams, and stake holders to ensure smooth integration and operation.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of application configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps.
- Provide training sessions to end-users, promoting efficient and secure use of applications.
- Conduct testing of applicants, including updates and new features, to identify and resolve potential issues before deployment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field
- 1-2 years experience in server, desktop and web application administration, system administration or related role
- Knowledge in Web development is a plus.
- Proficiency in web server management system (IIS), database administration (MS SQL) and networking concepts.
- Strong technical knowledge of enterprise applications and retail applications.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication skills and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
