For your information and appropriate guidance, the Malacañang Palace has issued Memorandum Circular No. 111 s. 2025, which provides for the suspension of work in all government offices on the following dates:
January 2, 2026 (Friday)
December 29, 2025 (Monday)
The Circular is intended to allow government employees to fully observe the New Year holidays and facilitate travel. Agencies tasked with basic, vital, and health services, as well as preparedness and response functions, shall remain operational. The suspension of work in private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads and takes effect immediately.
