Dear PMAPer,
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) issued guidelines under Presidential Decree 851 requiring private‑sector employers to grant the mandatory 13th‑month pay to all eligible rank‑and‑file employees no later than December 24 each year.
Under Labor Advisory No. 16, Series of 2025, the Presidential Decree 851 mandates that the 13th‑month pay must be at least one‑twelfth (1/12) of the total basic salary an employee earned during the calendar year.
