Dear PMAPer,
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has promulgated a landmark executive order that ensures private‑sector workers have the freedom to form and join unions and exercise their rights without fear.
EO 97 enacts Joint Memorandum Order No. 1, Series of 2024, the “Omnibus Guidelines on the Exercise of Freedom of Association and Civil Liberties”, which was developed in consultation with employer groups and labor organizations.
