About Us

The People Management Association of the Philippines – Cagayan de Oro Chapter (PMAP-CDO) is the premier organization of human resource and people management professionals in Northern Mindanao. It is a local chapter of the national PMAP, a professional association committed to advancing the discipline of human resources and people management in the Philippines.

Founded to serve as a platform for continuous learning, collaboration, and professional growth, PMAP-CDO brings together HR practitioners, business leaders, educators, and policy influencers who are dedicated to developing human capital and promoting ethical and effective people management practices.

PMAP-CDO is the standard-bearer of the human resources profession in Mindanao, recognized for its expertise and authority in people management.

Advance and champion the profession, positioning PMAP as an influencer, thought leader, defender, promoter, and shaper.

Validate and provide formal recognition of the HR qualifications of professionals. The mission statement articulates the principle of ā€˜authority as outlined in the vision.

Provide expertise in human resource management including training, mentoring, coaching, and advisory services.

  • 1977 Cagayan de Oro Chapter was organized
  • By several Executives and Personnel Managers from varied Industries in Cagayan de Oro & Misamis Oriental
  • Mr. Adrian Pabayo, Personnel Manager of Del Monte Phils became the 1st PMAP CDO President.
  • In May 2014 PMAP CDO Chapter got its Security Exchange Commission with CN201430911
