How to Join as Advocate Member?

WHO ARE ELIGIBLE FOR MEMBERSHIP?

 

An advocate is any individual or institution which registers itself formally to avail of specific services of the Association, abiding with the requirements and rules for purpose of availment. Has no voting rights and cannot be voted upon.

Classification of an Advocate Members:
a. Corporate – Micro-enterprises company, who has less than nine (9) regular employees.
b. Academe/Teachers & Government Employees – employed as such.
c. HR Professionals - Employed, non-managerial position.
d. Young Professionals - A newly graduate individual of any bachelors’ degree.

 

WHAT ARE THE DOCUMENTS REQUIRED?

Advocate Corporate
  • Fully accomplished PMAP Application Form
  • Photocopy of the Company’s SEC
  • Photocopy of the Company’s SSS Registration
  • Proof of the Company’s regular remittance to the SSS (latest 3 months)
  • Latest Audited Financial Statements
  • Company Organizational Chart
  • Job Description and one (1) Photo each (2” x 2” size) of both the Principal, Regular and Alternate Representatives Academe/Teachers, Government Employees & Young/HR Professionals
  • Fully accomplished PMAP Application Form
  • Recent Bio-Data or Curriculum Vitae with 2x2 picture
  • Copies of Professional Certifications, as required

WHAT ARE THE PROCEDURES IN FILING AN APPLICATION?

  • You may submit the fully accomplished Application Form together with all the documentary requirements to the Professional Staff at the PMAP Center, 670 Lee Street, Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City or you may upload all required documents thru this link http://membership.pmap.org.ph
  • The Professional Staff will review and validate submitted requirements prior to endorsement to the PMAP Membership Committee
  • The Membership Committee evaluates and processes the application and attached documents. A company visit and/or interview may be conducted, if needed.
  • The Membership Committee recommends the approval or disapproval of the application to the PMAP Board of Directors
  • Once the application is approved, the applicant will be sent a letter informing them of such. You must then accomplish the following before the Certificate of Membership is awarded:
    1. Attendance to the New Members’ Orientation and Induction Program
    2. Remittance of the following:
Membership Classification of Advocate Membership Fee
a. Corporate P 5,000 + P1,000*
  *Entrance Fee
b. Academe/Teachers, Government Employees P 2,000
c. Young/HR Professional P 1,000

Note: Applications with incomplete documents will not be processed. Applicant will be notified of the status of their application after within one (1) month.
