Summary of the role
- The Group Manager – Internal Audit will support in the development and lead execution of the internal audit program across LatAm and globally. They will work closely with management in various departments to identify risks, develop audit plans, execute audit projects including testing and evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, risk management and governance within processes and systems.
- This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and a deep understanding of auditing standards and practices. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in internal audit, a keen eye for detail and ability to influence others.
Job Ergonomic Requirements & Remuneration/Grading:
- Job based in Davao, Philippines
- Fluent in English
- Spends most of the time behind a desk, doing computer-related tasks in meetings/internal calls/VC with group emloyees.
- Reports to the Group Head of Internal Audit in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Grading: Paterson D1/D2
Qualifications, Knowledge, & Experience
- CIA/CISA/CA/CPA/ACMA/ACCA/MBA (or equivalent) from a well-reputed institute or advanced degree in Business or a related field.
- Fluent in English.
- 8 – 10 years of internal audit experience with at least the last 3 in managerial positions.
- Preferably with Agriculture or Food industry experience.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented with a conceptual and flexible mindset.
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Detailed-oriented, with a strong focus and highest level of professionalism.
- Innate desire and commitment to improve/change anything within the organization found to be deficient.
- Ability to communicate both financial and managerial issues clearly and articulate the risks and impacts.
Skills Required:
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders, both internal and external, in various cultural settings.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts and strategies clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, very proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, MS Project and/or other comparable tools will be advantageous.
